My Thanksgiving Days

On Thanksgiving, I usually have a typical Turkey day, but I'd like to share it with you!
First, when I wake up in the morning, I forget: HEY IT'S THANKSGIVING! But from my opinion, I love the sound of Thanksgiving because it's a time for everyone to show their appreciation for one another. For breakfast, my mom likes to make waffles or pancakes, depending on what she thinks is quicker (haha!), and of course, they're DEE-LISH! Second, I head to my parents bedroom and switch on the TV to watch Thanksgiving parades, which are always so exciting, even though sometimes they have the same things. I love watching the humongus blown-up characters, fly over the people, always with a gleaming smile. Sometimes I wish I could be at one of the parades, but I think soon I might.
Third, by the time parades are finished, lunch is ready. When I walk out my parents' bedroom, a big juicy turkey lays atop of an elegant platter. I lick my lips, hoping for my favorite part, the "bone-y" parts, as I like to call it. HAHA, don't ask why, I guess that's what I've been calling it for awhile. Also, candles are lit and red napkins are folded (by me!) and placed standing up next to the divine drinking glasses. My parents also set out gravy and mashed potatoes. Although I prefer french fries to replace the mashed potatoes, my parents always expect me to try new foods, so I have to eat it. But before we eat, every year, my family takes turns saying their Thank-you's to the family, and for what we are thankful for. For example, I said my thank you's last year, so I think this year my sister will be saying her's. By the time lunch is finished, my stomach is full as an aquarium filled with gallons of water. As always, the turkey was amazingly good! For dinner, usually there are left-overs from lunch, so we just finish those up! If their aren't, well...there's never been a time where there's no left-overs! HAHA!

My Thanksgiving may not be the most riveting in the world. But Thanksgiving traditions are always a family fav because I know my family will carry on the thanks given on Thanksgiving.
Get ready to eat some TURKAYYYY!
Bye, guys,
